Face Painting Kit
Where can I buy a face painting kit?
I am looking for a face painting kit to entertain kids on my son's 1st birthday party. Do you know where I can find it? Thanks
Ignore the Wal-Mart suggestion - that makeup is terrible. Also ignore any advice you get to make your own or use acrylics - that is asking for allergy problems and it doesn't even work that well.
I am a professional face painter and all the makeup I use, I buy from Silly Farm Supply at www.sillyfarm.com Heather, the owner, treats her customers great and the prices I reasonable. They have lots of choices. Personally, I really like both Mehron Paradise and Kryolan Aquacolor. I do *not* like Snazaroo very well and I don't recommend Wolfe Bros either personally. I use about 50/50 Paradise and Kryolan. Depends on the color. Paradise has some great starter palettes.
I'm not linked to Silly Farm in any way, but to be unbiased, you can also buy Paradise at www.larocksmagic.com and both Kryolan and Paradise at www.norcostco.com Both are good sources, with maybe even a hair better prices. I buy balloons from LaRocks and theatrical stuff from NorCostCo. But honestly, Silly Farm is the way to go for face painting...
P.S. Face painting crayons are *not* easy to use. They're easy to make an mess with that kinda passes as being a face painting. They're MISERABLE to try and actually paint with.
