Why do cutters cut and does the red pen/marker idea actually work?
I should start off by saying I am not a cutter, but rather interested in the reasons they do it. It appears to be rather painful and I wonder how this makes them feel good. Also if you give a cutter a red pen or marker and tell them to draw on themselves when they want to cut does this really work to get them to stop?
