How to blend a paint touch up?
I wanted to know how to blend paint from a touch up from an aerosol can. I painted a section that was peeling but i wanted to know how to blend it because it is a lot duller than the rest. Ive read that i need to wet sand it, than use a compound and then polish it. But i am a little confused and wanted to know if someone could give me a step by step on how to blend it and bring out the shine.
Oh and the paint is dark grey metallic.

You need a high power buffer(professional grade) to do this job. the one you get from auto parts store won't do it. What you have read is the right way to do it. just get the high quality compound and polish and the buffer.
wet sand the dull area then use a fine rubbing compound and follow by the wax polish with the buffer.
