how much are oil paints at michaels arts and crafts?
i need atleast 12 oil paint tubes how much will it cost at michaels arts and crafts
Winton is a good brand without being the most expensive. They can range from about $5 a tube to around $15 a tube. I get by just fine on the cheaper ones. You might want to get a large tube of titanium white since you use more white than any other color.
Anyway, you're talking $60 at the very least, not counting tax.
If you want, besides tit. white, all you absolutely need is 4 other colors: phthalo blue, cad red light, alizarin crimson and cad yellow light.
You can make green from the blue & yellow, brown from red & green and black from Pthalo blue, cad red light, bit of aliz. crimson. You can make purple from the blue and aliz. crimson which makes a fair purple but you may want to buy a tube of purple if it is really important to you.
You may want to get green or black just to save time but it's not necessary.
