I want to be a Royal Marine, But I am confused about the morals of the war in Afghanistan please advise me?
I don't mind the thought of being deployed, I just want to feel solid with the belief that I am fighting for a good cause, and I feel that the cause of the war is not so clear. I am up on the fence about it after looking at documentaries. Can someone shed some light on the war and tell me what the situation is, and whether or not enlisting now is a good choice for a man who just wants to be a soldier. Thanks. Im 25 by the way, nearly finished college
If you have a problem with this war don't join. You wont be committed to the cause and, quite frankly, the Royal Marines needs people who are willing to fight regardless of what their opinion is.
