How much does it cost to fix small bumper damage?? Is $580 too high? (more details)?
I recently hit a '04 Toyota Sienna (mini van) in the bumper. I was going about 0.5mph (if that) and she got a scratch and a little, and i mean little (about the size of a pea) paint chip/scratch and the a little (about the size of a pea again) dent on the edge of the bumper. Its not very bad at all. I received a message from her indicating the price was going to be $580 for the repair. I think is completely wayyyyy over priced. im no car expert but i think it is overpriced. Any experts willing to let me know if this is overpriced?
i didn't get to talk to her but im guessing that is the estimate from the body shop. We're not going through the insurance (my rate just doubled before this accident) and cant afford it to go up again.
I'm calling her tomorrow and going to ask her to get another quote.
That is the Estimate from the body shop that she got.
You are supposed to turn that into your insurance company and have them pay for that.
That sounds typical for that estimate.
