My cat may have eaten small 1 inch strings off a ball?
My cat got into a cat stocking full of toys and took out a ball while I wasn't watching him. It's one of those metallic looking soft bristle balls. The problem is I took it away from him and noticed the little strings (1 inch long but really thin) come out really really easily. He may have swallowed a few before I got to him. What are the chances of a complication with this (intestinal problem from the string cutting him or getting wrapped around?

More than likely your little guy will be fine but keep an eye out on his bowel movements for a couple of days. Just to be sure. Anything that seems off or unusual, call a vet and talk to them about what happened and what you found in his poop. See what the vet says. They'll let you know if you need to bring him in or if you should just let it ride itself out.
