what is the difference between gloss and matte medium for acrylic paint?
I usually use matte medium to cover my graphite drawings and to add texture so that when I paint over my drawing the texture and most of my drawing will show (I use water to erase paint to where highlights should be). I was wondering if I could do this with gloss medium as well?
that would be up to you, you could test on spare piece of paper for results,
if you are using paper, the gloss may not be as glossy ,
if you were drawing on heavy dense paper or board the glossy effect would be more apparent,
the finishes would be semi-gloss as opposed to high gloss,
