How do you get a flesh tone with watercolor crayons?
I am surprised that the sets of watercolor crayons (I have Caran D'Ache) don't include a peach or a flesh tone for Caucasian skin. I bought a set of 15 with nothing even close. Are you supposed to be able to mix a flesh tone with watercolor crayons? How would you do that?
Apply the dry pencils lightly on the paper. Yellow ocher and alizarin crimson or some other red together. Wet with a brush to mix. Do a test to get the mix correct. Raw sienna and a red will work too. After the paper is dry, add red to lips and ears. You may add some burnt sienna and a touch of blue for shadows.
